French Singing Workshop on Friday 24h June 2011

Picture Improve your pronunciation in French in an artistic, fun way.
Calling all singers, from Opera Singers to Shower Singers
If you wonder if singing in French could help your pronunciation when speaking French, come and practice these strange vowels, learn to exactly reproduce them, get to learn a great tool, the IPA or also known as the International Phonetic Alphabet.

Figure out how the sopranos and tenors fake it when singing: how do they compensate for their lack of knowledge in a foreign language whilst pronouncing it perfectly.

French mother-tongue professional language coach for singers, Elise Lefay with a degree from Trinity College of Music, London and a singing diploma from Italy,  with experienced in coaching soloists and choirs ( BBC Symphony Chorus, Greenwich Theatre, Trinity College of Music) will lead the workshop.

Come and join us for 2hours and learn how to sing Le Secret of Fauré. Last 30mn will be a Q/A session around a glass of wine and some light nibble.
